More about Frauke Adomeit

Frauke Adomeit (harp) already has spent a long, intensive time at the piano, before she decided at the age of 15 years to become a harpist. She studied at the “Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler” with Maria Graf, at the Salzburg Mozarteum and at the University of Music Basel with Sarah O’Brien. Already while studying she was an intern in the symphony orchestra of the city of Münster. Then she lived as a freelance harpist in Hamburg, where she was guest at the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Kiel Philharmonic, the Theater Oldenburg and the Ensemble Resonance. From 2007-2010 she was engaged at the National Theatre Mannheim and since then plays regularly in the surrounding orchestras, especially at the State Theatre Darmstadt, Frankfurt Opera, the Staatstheater Saarbrücken, in the State Philharmonic Orchestra in Ludwigshafen and the DRP Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern. The chamber music in occupations flute / harp, cello / harp, flute / harp / viola and baritone / harp / organ is considered a major focus of her concerts. As a soloist she has performed, among others with the Heilbronn Symphony Orchestra, the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Lübeck.
