Harald Pister (Horn)
Harald Pister learned trumpet and piano in early childhood. At the age of 17, he discovered his love for the horn. He completed his undergraduate as a horn player at the Musikhochschule in Mannheim and continued his education with Prof. Carlos Crespo in the artistic postgraduate studies, which he completed in 1999. During his studies, he already gained experience in renowned orchestras such as the Kurpfälzische Chamber Orchestra, the Baden Baden Philharmonie, the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, and was principal hornist at the Stadttheater Pforzheim. Since 2001 he has been Horn teacher and lecturer at the University of Heidelberg. Through his engagement at the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, he has regularly performed with well-known artists from the pop music (Nena, Chris de Burgh, David Garrett). Since 2004 he is solo hornist at SAP Symphony Orchestra and leader of the horn register.
In our concerts on 27th June in Neckargemünd Harald Pister has performed the concert for Horn and Orchestra Eb-Dur KV 417 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
