Ralf Schwarz studied at the Musikhochschule Trossingen with Prof. Waldemar Wandel in the course of music teacher and orchestral music. He completed his artistic education in the class of Prof. Hans Pfeifer at the Musikhochschule in Mannheim. He gained orchestral experience with the Symphony Orchestra of the SWR Baden-Baden and Freiburg as well as solo clarinettist at the Staatstheater Braunschweig and at the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern. Furthermore he was and is active as a temp in various orchestras. Since 2001 he teaches clarinet and saxophone at the music schools in Mannheim and in Östringen. In addition, since 2004, he is hired as a mentor at the Musikhochschule in Mannheim. He has recorded several CD and radio recordings, for example the Concerto for clarinet by Artie Shaw with the Mannheimer Bläserphilharmonie. This recording is certified as reference quality by the music press. Since many years, Ralf Schwarz is closely connected with the SAP Symphony Orchestra.
